In early 2018, four writers saw the need for educational services in the Elk Grove Community and beyond. Their first Elk Grove Writers Conference was held in October of 2018. Encouraged by its success, they became the Elk Grove Writers Guild, Inc., a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, and they have done four more biennial writers conferences, and several seminars along the way.
However, it takes funding from Grants, membership dues, and donations to bring these writers conferences and educational events to the communities we serve. Please know any donation to the Elk Grove Writers Guild, Inc. is tax deductible and will be used to support our mission of “Helping Writers Be The Best They Can Be.”
