RoseMary Covington

RoseMary Covington has just stepped on stage for an encore. After a 40-plus year successful career as an urban planner, the curtain is rising on a new challenge as an author.

Writing is not new to her. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she started creating stories using her dolls and plastic action figures while in elementary school. Her interest followed her through high school, to the University of Missouri- Columbia and Washington University-St. Louis.

Her early career included investigating civil rights cases, housing development, reviewing grants, and developing community-based programs. She then began the development of major public transit projects, becoming an executive manager and an acknowledged expert in her field.

She has led transit projects in St. Louis, Cleveland, Washington, DC, Sacramento, and other cities as a consultant. RoseMary has published a short story, The Song in the anthology Storytellers-Tales from the Rio Vista Writers’ group. She also has a story, My Big Red Shadow, published in the Northern California Publishers Travel Anthology.
